Eliza Cook letters, poems, and portraits, 1837-1874.

The collection contains seven signed poems; two obituaries and one "in memoriam" card; fifteen letters, 1837-1874, about poetry and her health; two engravings, one carte-de-visite, and a holograph description of Cook; a holograph sketch of her life to accompany an edition of her poems; and loose pages from Poems by Eliza Cook (London: Charles Tilt, 1840) of the title page and five steel engravings with their original watercolor sketches.
